Trekking to Mount Salomon

Alpi Noriche - From Tesido, the trek that leads to Mount Salomon at an altitude of 2275 m is followed in a ring, covering a difference in height of 700 m in 4.5 hours of walking. The route, suitable for the whole family, starts with path 31, which in a fir forest leads to Monte Luta at 2145 m. Continue climbing on a stretch of gravel and earth, until the path becomes flatter and between ups and downs and small wooded stretches, it leads under the summit of Salomon.

For a steep gravel climb we reach the summit cross, where you can admire the spiers of the surrounding Alps. Go down the path 54 which winds on the gravel ridge, up to a crossroads. Where the track 38 indicates the way to the Malga. The mule track with small rock jumps allows a more relaxed descent, up to the Tesido Refuge, where you can have lunch with excellent typical dishes in the internal room or on the panoramic terrace. Finally, the mule track 38 A leads us back to Tesido crossing the fir wood again, among the scented essences of resin and the warmth of the fireplaces that is finally approaching.
