Sinis Peninsula.

Penisola del Sinis. - The Natural Park extends for 30 km of coast where the care of the habitat, the protection of animals and the archaeological areas make it heavenly. Established in 1999, it houses the Corsican gull, shag and pink flamingos. In the 7 km stretch that affects the coast of Isarutas, the sand is embellished with quartz crystals and, degrading into the sea, makes it limpid and crystalline.

The environmental beauty is intertwined with the work of CRES, a center for the care and protection of protected species such as turtles. Many visitors discreetly can watch their race out to sea after healing. We visit Capo San Marco, the archaeological area of Thorres with the ruins of the Phoenician city. Carthaginian and Roman and from the cliff we admire a splendid panorama of the Gulf and the island of Mal di Ventre. From the slopes of this to the Catalan reef, there is an underwater coastal strip with ravines and caves that constitute an excellent underwater exploration point, due to the high pre-coral and coral morphological variety.
