The Templars between Montauro and Gasperina

Montauro e Gasperina - A very interesting summer initiative that takes place between Montauro and Gasperina is called Night Walks on the Path of the Knights Templar. It is a journey between history, but also mystery and legend, which mainly revolves around the town of Montauro. Here some similarities have been found with Rennes-le-Château, a country in which the writer Dan Brown was also interested in his research on the Templars and their treasures.

The walk begins at 22.15 from Montauro, in fact, and leads through churches, hermitages, tunnels and palaces haunted by ghosts. Along the way you can also see a small show, and a guided tour illustrates the way in which these countries are linked to the Knights Templar. Once in Gasperina you can visit four churches with their related works of art. You then go back and it all ends just after midnight. Participants are given a Templar cross made of terracotta, for a minimum participation fee.
