The Island of Elba you don't expect

Isola d'Elba - Elba Island is one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean Sea and a lot of wonderful places to visit. Among these unmissable is Capo Sant'Andrea with its characteristic boulders that have been used to create some of the most famous monuments in the world such as 7 columns of the Pantheon in Rome and the Cathedral of Pisa. These boulders are a great attraction for tourists because they take on particular shapes and allow spectacular dives into the sea.

Samson Beach is also definitely worth a visit, which with its fine sand and crystal clear water is considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Europe. Another place that may not attract the general holiday public but which deserves to be seen for its particularity is the Vallone Mines. This is a very different place from the rest of the island but equally suggestive despite the state of abandonment that makes us reflect a lot on the living conditions of the miners who worked there in the past.
