A day in Ravenna

Ravenna - Ravenna is the chief town of Emilia-Romagna and is the largest and historically most important city in Romagna. Via Paolo Costa is the main restaurant street of the city, here one after the other you can find many places where you can taste the typical dishes of the place. The Arian Baptistery built in the 5th century was the baptistery of the ancient Arian cathedral, today called the Church of the Holy Spirit. It has an octagonal plan with upper arched windows, the bare and masonry interior has a baptismal font and a mosaic-decorated dome with the scene of Christ's baptism.
