Rocca Senghi. - From the hamlet of Sant'Anna there is a simple hike of 670 m in altitude, 8 km long, which winds along the mountain ridge, catapulting us into the panorama of the Maira valley and the surrounding mountains, on the border with France. The path is initially paved and quickly reaches the Grange Cruset, a small group of old stone peasant houses.

Between the pastures, the road becomes steeper and the mountain flowers such as the botton d'oro, the crowns and the sages, paint the mountain slope. You get to the steepest part and the road twists overhanging, flanked by a fence. La Rocca at 2450 m is a cylindrical monolith, where ravines give refuge to chamois and small makeshift shelters. Legend has it that it arose from the furious struggle between the Devil and God and that the earth was shaken to such an extent. The snow persists between the folds of the rock, retouching the mountain landscape even more wonderfully and you reach the Cross where you can admire the peaks of the Buc des Sparviers and the high valley of Rui.
