Tips for visiting Udine

Udine - Udine is located in the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and has a truly noteworthy artistic and cultural heritage. The city is an hour and a half drive from Venice and one hour from Trieste and Tarvisio.

A useful suggestion that is given to us before starting the visit, is to park in Piazza I Maggio in order to then continue with the itinerary and then visit Piazza della Libertà, Loggia del Lippomano, the Castle, which stands on the hill overlooking the roofs of the city, and then the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata, and again Piazza Giacomo Matteotti which is surrounded by arcades, Piazza XX Settembre and the Church of San Francesco.
