Sciacca - Sciacca is a town in the province of Agrigento known as a tourist resort but also for the tradition of carnival, ceramics, coral, with an incredible sea and spas. The main square directly overlooks the harbor. One of the best preserved ancient entrance doors is Porta San Salvatore in Piazza Carmine, which led directly to the city center.

Behind it is the San Salvatore bastion, a military tower. Another door still visible today is Porta Palermo, the northern entrance to the city, which connects Piazza Sturzo with Piazza Marconi. In Piazza Carmine there is the homonymous church, from the Norman period, while the mother church of Sciacca is the Basilica of the Madonna del Soccorso which houses prestigious works of art. In the city there are two districts: - the Arab one, characterized by narrow alleys; - the Jewish one, with the synagogue. Another characteristic place of the city is the Carini courtyard, which hosts an open-air exhibition of works by the artist Giulio Lorubbio, made only with material recovered from the coast. Via San Leonardo was a red light district, now redeveloped thanks to the presence of many contemporary murals. Also worth a visit is the Castle of Count Luna, built by Guglielmo Peralta and the setting for a series of amorous fights between two counts, which have gone down in history as 'the case of Sciacca'.
