The beach of Funtanazza when it is not yet summer

Costa Verde - The beaches of the Costa Verde are popular for summer tourism, when they fill up with bathers who come here to sunbathe and swim in the crystal clear waters. But they are no less charming even in the spring months, even on days when the sun doesn't shine. The beach of Funtanazza is a little more sheltered than the more famous ones of Is Arutas and Pistis, but it can hold many surprises.

In fact, here the sea changes often. Sometimes you can find the beach invaded by the sea, so with the presence of just a strip of shoreline and very little sand, or nothing at all. Other times, however, the sandy strip is very wide, up to 10 meters, and would therefore allow you to lie down in comfort. On the spot there is an old abandoned shed, perhaps some toilets that have been destroyed over time. On the other hand, however, the sea is very clean, with no algae and the presence of islets that can almost always be reached by touching the bottom. On the rocks you can see small marine animals, such as crabs or sea urchins.
