Genova - Our tour of the ten unmissable places to see in Genoa in one day starts from Piazza Vittoria; in the center of the imposing square is the Arc de Triomphe and in the background the colorful Staircase of the Three Caravels dedicated to Christopher Columbus. We then move to Via XX Settembre, the shopping street, where you can stroll among the shops and take a short break to taste the typical focaccia or a panarellina.

We continue to Piazza de Ferrari, the heart of Genoa, with its huge bronze fountain and the four eclectic-style buildings. Next stop, the cathedral of San Lorenzo, built around the year one thousand. We then move to the Porto Antico, also known as Expo, which houses the Sea Museum, the Genoa aquarium and many other unmissable attractions. We continue with a walk through the alleys of Genoa where you can also make a stop at the De Andrè House-Museum. Next stop is the church of the Annunziata with its ceiling that leaves you speechless. We head to Via Balbi to visit the Royal Palace and then to Via Garibaldi, a street elected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which includes fourteen majestic palaces of ancient Genoa. Finally, Spianata Castelletto, reachable by the Sant'Anna lift, is a magical place where you can enjoy an enchanting view of the historic center of Genoa.
