Today the park and the fort are places to visit, in fact there is also a famous auditorium designed by Renzo Piano with the contribution of the Trento region in solidarity with the city after the terrible earthquake of 2009. A few steps from the park stands the well-known Fontana Luminosa , made of travertine marble, so called because it is illuminated in the evening. It is one of the monumental fountains that characterize the city. The castle was an important cultural center with museums and public offices, now no longer present because they are being restored after the earthquake. One of the main streets is Via di Castello which flanks the park and ends with the arch of the Castle. At the crossroads stands Piazza Regina Margherita, dominated by the famous Fountain of Neptune, created to decorate the square in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy. Other places not to be missed are the Teatro Stabile d'Abruzzo and the Basilica of San Bernardino.
