Urbino only

Urbino - Since 1998, its historic center has been designated a World Heritage Site by Unesco: today we are going to visit Urbino. Among the main attractions we go primarily to the Albornoz Fortress, built by Cardinal De Grimoard to have a better view for possible enemy attacks. From the top we can admire the wonderful panorama of the city. Another noteworthy panorama is the 'Montefeltro' panorama.

We continue our visit by visiting the main theater of the city, the Sanzio Theater, located on the rampart of the helical ramp, and the Oratory of San Giovanni, which contains the frescoes made by the Salimbeni brothers. Walking through the typical alleys, we arrive in front of the Casa di Raffaello, located in the homonymous street, where, inside, you can admire a fresco by the young artist and different paintings by his father Santi. We continue our visit inside the Cathedral, in neoclassical style and containing some paintings by Federico Barocci; and the Church of San Bernardino, located on a hill just outside the town, in Franciscan style. We end our visit in this wonderful artistic heritage, with the Palazzo Ducale, a typical example of Italian Renaissance art and architecture. Inside is the National Gallery of the Marche, full of artistic wonders.
