On the promontory, it is also possible to visit the archaeological site 'Città di Solunto' with the ruins of the ancient Greek settlement and the small museum 'Antiquarium', which exhibits artifacts such as capitals, votive statues, vases and painted ceramics. In the city, the Soluntina Church dedicated to Sant'Anna is worth a visit, built on a pre-existing chapel and acquired by Prince Filangeri in the seventeenth century. Inside is preserved among the reddish marble columns, the wooden reliquary painted in gold of Sant'Agapeno. Finally we can head to the sea or to the coast where the Solunto Castle stands or to the inlet of Sant'Elia, a white house surrounded by the crystalline sea and the fishing boats that return to the port, at sunset with the tail of seagulls or the moon that is makes it more distinct.
