The mysterious stories about the villa La Rondinella in Buonconvento

Buonconvento - In the area of the Crete Senesi, ghost stories are told. Many of them revolve around a villa called La Rondinella, which was built by the noble Ricci at the beginning of the twentieth century. From the moment of its construction, strange facts began to occur. Those who worked inside it said that they had been attacked by invisible entities.

Later, around the 1950s, when the villa had already been abandoned, a truck driver found himself giving a lift to a young man. This invited him to have a coffee at his home. His house was Villa La Rondinella. The truck driver saw the boy fade away as he drank. Thinking he had the trappings of sleep, he left, to return later with some friends. He discovered that the villa was deserted, there was no trace of the young man, but his cup was still there where he had left it. There is also talk of stones that levitate, to hit passers-by. Another haunted place is the castle of Murlo, from which sounds of battle are heard and where, at times, sinister silhouettes appear.
