Baronissi - Baronissi is a town of 17,000 inhabitants in the province of Salerno. It is located in a strategic area a short distance from the main cities of Campania and its tourist vocation is noted by the presence of numerous accommodation facilities. Place of great historical interest is the archaeological site of the Roman Villa of Sava. Built in the 1st century BC, inside it preserves precious late Gothic frescoes.

Worthy of note is also Villa Farina built by the homonymous bourgeois family between 1700 and 1800. It consists, among other rooms, of a beautiful frescoed hall and a library containing historical acts of Parliament. The flowery cloister of the Convent of the Holy Trinity, built around 1400, dominates the Parco del Ciliegio. The pride of the structure is the internal church which houses valuable works and manuscripts. A wing of the convent also houses an important contemporary art museum. Art that is also present in the murals that adorn the walls near the Renaissance Park. An enchanting place is the House of Poetry where national and international poetic art spreads through various events. There are also numerous shops where local artisans give life to real masterpieces. Local products are courgettes and onions that are used to make tasty dishes of the town's culinary tradition. Fruits are also typical, that is, delicious homemade fruit ice creams.
