The magical Adria

Adria - Adria is a town located within the Po Delta Park, in the province of Rovigo. Its waterways that act as communication routes cover great importance for the town as well as being close to places of great interest such as the Municipal Theater and the main street of Adria. In the past the city was considered a fundamental commercial hub thanks to its proximity to the Po and Adige rivers.

A building to visit absolutely is the Archaeological Museum with its collection of Roman glass, Attic ceramics, Etruscan bronzes and Baltic amber jewels. Very beautiful is also the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul which houses a museum with a historical-religious theme. There are numerous cycle paths that allow visitors to better enjoy the beauties of the country. Those who love adrenaline, on the other hand, cannot fail to take a ride on the city racetrack with its 3749-meter track equipped with night lighting. The aforementioned Teatro Comunale del Popolo is home to several interesting events throughout the year. Among the events taking place in the town, Adria in Fiore certainly deserves the Historical Reenactment of the 'Pensa', the September Adriese, the Summer Fridays and the Befana of Adria. Among the tastiest culinary products of the city we find bread, egg pasta, rice, sheep cheeses and vegetables from the garden. The typical dessert is Bissola.
