Gargano is the place where nature, history and faith are intertwined with the local traditions and the fascinating landscapes to discover. Not to mention the important Sanctuary of Saint Michael in Monte Sant'Angelo, the Church of Siponto in Manfredonia and the church of Saint Pio da Pietralcina, the monk with stigmata, whose tomb is located in the town of San Giovanni Rotondo.
For the lovers of flowers, Mattinata is famous worldwide for having 58 of the 85 species of orchids of the whole Gargano. This exceptional feature draws every year to Mattinata lots of lovers of orchids from all over Europe.

BY CAR: from the North - A14 motorway exit "Foggia", from the South - A14 motorway exit "Cerignola Est"; both exits lead to Mattinata through 55 Km of fast road.

BY TRAIN: Foggia train station, then local bus Foggia-Mattinata.

BY PLANE: Bari or Foggia Airports, then train and/or local bus Foggia-Mattinata.
