The Makauda Beach Residence is placed in a strategic position between the doril temples of Agrigento and the Greek ones of Selinunte; it is only 8 km far from Sciacca Terme.
Sciacca, a sea town, famous for its ceramics craftmanship, lies at the foot of the kronio mount from which a vapour flow iting from S. Calogero stoves pours. Sciacca, still surrounded with rest of antique walls, is full of interesting historical monuments: an arab quarter, a medioeval quarter, a number of norman buildings and many churches.
