The path of the Pyramids and the ancient mills.

Sentiero dei mulini. - From the upper part of the town, follow the signs for the mills. A staircase detaches from the stream to forward the path, along the mountain slope, within everyone's reach. The landscape attraction is constituted by the extraordinary pyramids, conical columns of different agglomerations that were formed after the flood of 1831. The base is made up of large stones and blocks, the intermediate band from schist and gneiss and the apex from gravel.

The optical effect is a battlements of a small castle released by the spell of a fairy and your children will also be fascinated by the light, granite color, which softens the natural sculptures. Shortly after, opening a small gate you can visit the Muller Mill, the first in the valley once cultivated with wheat. More than 500 years old, a long wooden jetty conveys the water of the stream to the blades that developed energy for grinding and for the operation of carpentry tools. The cottage is very picturesque and well restored as are the other mills that dot the path.
