Maison Le Nid De L'aigle

Maison Le Nid de l'Aigle is a two-rooms apartment with 5 beds, renovated in spring 2013 and largely refurnished in a modern and functional way. It is located in Chaté, a Torgnon's hamlet, and it's 1400 meters far from the town, 1650 meters high above sea level, in a very quiet property. It got a 50 sqm private garden dominating the entire Valtournenche Valley, exclusively reserved for the property. As it is for the apartment, the garden itself it's sunnied all day long because exposed to south.

Services

The apartment's floor is 36 sqm and it got everything you may need during your stay. It is functional, cozy and pleasant to the eye. It's organised as follows:

Living room with open-plan kitchen and direct access to the private garden, where you'll find:
- a large sofa bed with 3 sitting seats (200x160 cm mattress - 2 beds)
- lcd television with satellite tv
- an extendable dining table with six chairs
- a large refrigerator with freezer
- a very useful microwave
- all the cooking and dining tools

Plus, a booksharing corner filled with brochures, touristic Aosta Valley's infos, trails maps, books for babies etc. that might be useful and inspiring for your activities.

Bedroom (3 beds total) furnished with a bunk bed, a single storage bed and a large wardrobe to store your clothes with care. The room has a window on the back of the building.

Bathroom with shower, it got a window on the private terrace. An hairdryer is provided.

In the area that connects the three rooms are located a closet which contains some cleaning tools and a mirror obtained from an old snowboard.

The private garden with stunning view over the Valtournenche valley and completely exposed to south. From late spring to early fall you'll find external wood table and benches on it to enjoy the sunshine: having breakfast on the terrace regenerates even more than the food itself. Beach chairs and umbrella are also included.

The heating system is independent:
a brand new GPL hot-water heating has been installed in spring 2013. It is very userfriendly. It supplies the radiators, hot water stream for taps and shower and gas for the kitchen.

Indoor parking lot in the building common area.

Ski locker room just next to the parking lot.

Where We are

How to get by car

Driving through the motorway A5 Torino - Aosta take the Chatillon/Saint Vincent exit, then the SR46 toward Cervinia till Antey Saint André.
In Antey you'll find a crossroad to Torgnon: turn left taking the SR9 in its direction.
It takes 20 minutes from the motorway exit to Torgnon town. When you get there, go straight on in the same direction for about 1 km, then poi turn right towards Chaté: 400 meters and here you are!

How to reach Torgnon lifts from the apart:

By car
The apartment is car advised.
Lifts are reachable going to town where you can take the cablecar or going directly to the ski area where there's a chair lift waiting for you. In both cases driving distances are narrow (respectively 1,4 and 2 km) and you'll find free and wide parking areas.

Skibus
People who don't want or cannot drive towards the lifts can use the free on-call skibus service: the stop is 20 meters far from the apartment. In 2013/2014 winter season is available every single weekend until March 16th and the whole carnival period which is from March 1st to 9th.
