Castello del Trebbio

Olive groves and grape vines surround the villa Panicale situated on the Castello del Trebbio estate. The villa is divided into three separate appartments complete with their own patio, private garden and swimmingpool. The estate comprises about 60 hectares of grapes, 10.000 olive trees and native forest, a total of 350 hectares. To reach Panicale there is a short drive or walk down a fruit tree lined road. Recently renovated the Villa Faltignano, with private pool, that can host up to 14 people.

Services

We offer our guests a range of activities, from cooking classes to italian courses, from painting classes to mountain biking. Horse riding either around the practice ring or through the beautiful native forest is another possibility we can arrange. Guests are welcome to wander through the estate, and feast on any of the delicacies they find, such as mushrooms, figs, apples, nuts or peaches. A fairly regular bus service stops at the castle gate linking this country villa with Pontassieve, Florence and some of the quaint small towns near by.

Where We are

If you arrive from Rome or from Pisa or from Bologna:

Take motorway A1 in direction of FIRENZE and get off at FIRENZE SUD. After the pay toll, continue 3,5 km straight until the end of the road and only at the traffic lights turn right taking the road SS 67.
After about 8,5 km, at the town SIECI, by the first traffic light turn left, following for CASTELLO DEL TREBBIO / S.BRIGIDA.
After turning in Sieci keep going up, for around 6km, always following direction S.BRIGIDA.
You will see the Castle direct on the road, before arriving in S.Brigida. The reception is in the wine shop, 20 mt. after the Castle, on the left.
